About the Item
This is a very nice mint Faber Castell Alpha Matic 0.5mm automatic mechanical pencil. If you can remember that year was 1980 when Faber Castell first introduced this pen to the German Market which as widely accepted by engineers and architect worldwide. One noteworthy feature of this pencil is it is made completely out of titatium and is automatic - The idea is that as the pencil lead wears down it pushes in the sleeve. When you reposition it the sleeve pops out and advances the lead. This pencil stops production in 1985 which is nearly 20 years ago. It retail for about US$80 then. So where do you get it now, here of course. Still in mint condition. Thanks for looking!
